Our Teams
Serving the Next Generation
At uVillage, we make teams together to serve church community
as a chosen race and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9).

Our Invitation
Please lend your shoulder in supporting the next generation.
The history of the gospel, which began with the Korean immigrants (diaspora) in Manchuria in the 1880s,
continues to this day.
Our people have faced many hardships, but we cannot deny that we have survived solely by the grace of the Lord.
Many Koreans and Korean Christians have immigrated to all corners of the globe, and today we find ourselves sent to live in every corner of the globe. In Vancouver, Canada, where multiple generations of Korean immigrants have not occurred like in the United States, we see the next generation, with its growing number of 1.5 and second-generation Koreans.
Please be the catalyst for this transition.
It may take a long time for a new generation to take a leap forward,
but just as our parents sacrificed their lives for their children, I ask that you once again pass on the gospel, received solely by grace, to the next generation.
We ask your help in supporting and serving them.

Sam Kim
Young Adult Pastor
Pastor Sam Kim is a 1.5-generation pastor with a calling to serve young adults and the next generation. For the past 15 years in Vancouver, he has ministered to multi-ethnic students at SFU, Korean second-generation young adults, and working-holiday young adults, sharing God’s heart with them. His passion is to see young people restored to a life of worship and obedience to God’s Word. Sam and his wife Annie have two children, Lydia and Evan. They desire to offer their family to the Lord as a home that delights His heart.

At uVillage, he helps lead the worship ministry and coordinates our annual trip to the Middle East.
